The proposed information collection requirement described below has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act. The Department is soliciting public comments on the subject proposal. Lender provides information required to determine the eligibility of a mortgage to be insured under Section 513 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992 (Section 106 of the Energy Policy Act of 1992).

The data collection requirements consist of an electronic lender certification process whereby the lender certifies to its eligibility to participate in the Lender Insurance program. It also states that lenders must provide electronic copies of loan applications and supporting documents at FHA's request.

This notice announces the extension of submission deadline dates for two programs announced in the Fiscal Year 2005 SuperNOFA, the Rural Housing and Economic Development (RHED) NOFA and the Public Housing Neighborhood Networks NOFA, for those applicants located within the states significantly affected by Hurricane Dennis including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi. The submission deadline for these two funding opportunities was July 11, 2005. For those applicants located in one of these states, the revised submission date is August 22, 2005. For applicants unaffected by Hurricane Dennis, the submission deadline remains unchanged.
Transfer of Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) Data Collection to Federal Reserve Board
This notice advises mortgagees that are required by the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and Regulation C of the Federal Reserve Board (Board) to submit HMDA data to HUD to submit their annual HMDA reports, due on or before March 1st of each year, to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, and not to HUD.
