Description of Project: The project consists of: (1) A 10-foot-wide by 2-feethigh concrete and wood diversion dam; (2) 2,400 feet by 8-inch diameter steel water pipeline; (3) a 99 H.P. Impulse Turbine (total head = 300 feet); a 44 kW alternator; and (4) appurtenant facilities. When a Petition for Declaratory Order is filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Federal Power Act requires the Commission to investigate and determine if the interests of interstate or foreign commerce would be affected by the project.
