Commission Information Collection Activities (FERC-725E); Comment Request; Revision
In compliance with the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission or FERC) is soliciting public comment on revisions to the information collection, FERC-725E (Mandatory Reliability Standards for the Western Electric Coordinating Council), in Docket Nos. RD16-10-000, RD17-5-000 and IC17-6-000 and submitting the information collection to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review. Any interested person may file comments directly with OMB and should address a copy of those comments to the Commission as explained below. The Commission published Notices in the Federal Register on April 6, 2017, in Docket No. RD16-10-000; and May 9, 2017, in Docket Nos. RD17-5-000 and IC17-6-000, requesting public comments. FERC received no comments in response to the Notices and is indicating that in its submittal to the OMB.
Agency Information Collection Activities: Information Collection Extension
EIA, pursuant to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, intends to extend (with changes) for three years with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Form OE-417 Electric Emergency Incident and Disturbance Report, OMB Control Number 1901-0288. Form OE-417 enables the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to monitor emergencies and significant incidents that affect U.S. electric power systems. The information gathered allows DOE to conduct post-incident reviews examining significant interruptions of electric power or threats to the national electric system.
Energy Conservation Program: General Service Incandescent Lamps and Other Incandescent Lamps Request for Data
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) seeks annual domestic sales and shipment data for general service incandescent lamps (GSILs) and other incandescent lamps. DOE intends to use this sales data from stakeholders to inform its decision on whether to amend standards for GSILs.
2025 Power Marketing Plan
The Department of Energy (DOE), Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), announces its final 2025 Power Marketing Plan (Marketing Plan) for the Sierra Nevada Region (SNR). On December 31, 2024, all of SNR's long-term power sales contracts will expire. This notice responds to comments received on the Proposed 2025 Power Marketing Plan (Proposed Plan) and sets forth the Marketing Plan. The Marketing Plan specifies the terms and conditions under which WAPA will market power from the Central Valley Project (CVP) and the Washoe Project beginning January 1, 2025. This Marketing Plan supersedes all previous marketing plans for these projects. WAPA will offer new contracts for the sale of power to existing customers as more fully described in the Marketing Plan. Entities who wish to apply for a new allocation of power from WAPA, and who meet the criteria defined in the Marketing Plan, should submit formal applications. Application procedures will be set forth in the Call for 2025 Resource Pool Applications in a separate Federal Register notice to be published after the Marketing Plan is applicable.
Occupational Radiation Protection
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is publishing a final rule to amend values listed in two appendices to its current occupational radiation protection regulation. The amendment to appendix C corrects the air immersion derived air concentration value for any single radionuclide not listed in the appendix C table with a decay mode other than alpha emission or spontaneous fission and with radioactive half- life less than two hours, adjusted for an 8-hr work day. The amendments to appendix E correct the activity information of two radionuclides, Rh-102 and Rh-102m.
