The Assistant Secretary for Elementary and Secondary Education (Assistant Secretary) announces priorities, requirements, definitions, and selection criteria under the SRCL program. This notice sets forth the agenda, time, and location for the June 20-22, 2017 meeting of the National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity (NACIQI), and provides information to members of the public regarding the meeting, including requesting to make oral comments. The notice of this meeting is required under Sec. 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) and Sec. 114(d)(1)(B) of the Higher Education Act (HEA) of 1965, as amended.

The Secretary seeks information from the public regarding the major features and types of commonly assessed fees that postsecondary institutions (institutions) must disclose under 34 CFR 668.164(d)(4)(i)(B)(2) of the cash management regulations with regard to each of the institution's Tier 1 (T1) or Tier 2 (T2) arrangements as defined under Sec. 668.164(e)(1) and (f)(1), respectively. The Secretary also requests feedback regarding the proposed format of these disclosures. The Secretary intends to use this information in developing a notice to be published in the Federal Register describing the format, content, and update requirements that institutions may follow to satisfy the requirements of Sec. 668.164(d)(4)(i)(B)(2) with respect to the major features and assessed fees associated with the T1 and T2 arrangements.
