In compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the Indian Health Service (IHS) is submitting to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a request for approval of a new collection of information titled, ``Purchased/Referred Care Proof of Residency'' (OMB Control Number 0917-XXXX). This proposed information collection project was recently published in the Federal Register (83 FR 13764) on March 30, 2018, and allowed 60 days for public comment. The IHS received one comment regarding this collection. The question summary and response is listed in the notice. The purpose of this notice is to allow 30 days for public comment to be submitted directly to OMB. Draft Indian Health Service Strategic Plan Fiscal Year 2018-2022
The Indian Health Service (IHS) is developing an Agency-wide Strategic Plan to guide the work and strengthen partnerships with Tribes and Urban Indian Organizations. The IHS is seeking public comment on its Draft IHS Strategic Plan fiscal year (FY) 2018-2022 (Draft IHS Strategic Plan FY 2018-2022). Additionally, notice is given that the IHS will conduct a Tribal Consultation and Urban Indian Confer regarding the Draft IHS Strategic Plan FY 2018-2022. In addition to the virtual town hall sessions, the IHS will seek other opportunities to solicit input from Tribal and Urban Indian programs on the Draft IHS Strategic Plan FY 2018-2022 during the comment period. The IHS received 20 anonymous comments regarding this collection but they did not pertain to the LRP notice. The purpose of this notice is to allow 30 days for public comment to be submitted directly to OMB.
