Application to Rescind Presidential Permit; Joint Application for Presidential Permit; British Columbia Transmission Corporation and British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority
British Columbia Transmission Corporation (BCTC) and British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (BC Hydro) filed a joint application to voluntarily transfer the BCTC facilities authorized by Presidential Permit No. PP-22, as amended, to BC Hydro. The application requested that the Department of Energy (DOE) rescind the Presidential permit held by BCTC and simultaneously issue a new permit to BC Hydro covering the same international transmission facilities.
Demand Response Compensation in Organized Wholesale Energy Markets
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is issuing a Supplemental Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NOPR) and Notice of Technical Conference to provide additional opportunity for comment on issues related to the March 18, 2010 NOPR, 75 FR 15362 (March 29, 2010), regarding the appropriate compensation to be paid to demand response resources in organized wholesale electric markets administered by Independent System Operators or Regional Transmission Organizations. The Commission proposed an approach for compensating demand response resources in order to improve the competitiveness of organized wholesale energy markets and thus ensure just and reasonable wholesale rates. Energy Conservation Program for Consumer Products: Decision and Order Granting a Waiver to Samsung Electronics America, Inc. From the Department of Energy Residential Refrigerator and Refrigerator-Freezer Test Procedure
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) gives notice of the decision and order (Case No. RF-014) that grants to Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (Samsung) a waiver from the DOE electric refrigerator and refrigerator-freezer test procedure for certain basic models of residential refrigerator-freezers containing relative humidity sensors and adaptive control anti-sweat heaters. Under today's decision and order, Samsung shall be required to test and rate these refrigerator- freezers equipped with adaptive control anti-sweat heaters using an alternate test procedure that takes this technology into account when measuring energy consumption.
Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act of 2000; Corrected Revision to List of Covered Facilities
The Department of Energy (``Department'' or ``DOE'') periodically publishes or revises a list of facilities covered under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act of 2000, as amended (``EEOICPA'' or ``Act''). On June 30, 2010, DOE published a notice (75 FR 37781) that amended the previous lists. DOE has determined that the June 30, 2010, notice should be replaced. This corrected notice now replaces the previous lists by removing two facilities designated as atomic weapons employer (AWE) facilities that should not have been so designated. Previous lists or revisions were published on April 9, 2009, June 28, 2007, November 30, 2005, August 23, 2004, July 21, 2003, December 27, 2002, June 11, 2001, and January 17, 2001.

Manitoba Hydro (Manitoba) has applied to renew its authority to transmit electric energy from the United States to Canada pursuant to section 202(e) of the Federal Power Act (FPA).
Blue Ribbon Commission on America's Nuclear Future, Transportation and Storage Subcommittee
This notice announces an open meeting of the Transportation and Storage (T&S) Subcommittee. The T&S Subcommittee is a subcommittee of the Blue Ribbon Commission on America's Nuclear Future (the Commission). The establishment of subcommittees is authorized in the Commission's charter.
