MidAmerican Energy Company
(MidAmerican) submitted a filing
requesting approval of proposed journal
entries required to reclassify high
voltage assets and accumulated
depreciation, from distribution plant
accounts to transmission plant accounts.
Any person desiring to intervene or to
protest this filing must file in
accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of
the Commission’s Rules of Practice and
Procedure (18 CFR 385.211, 385.214).
Protests will be considered by the
Commission in determining the
appropriate action to be taken, but will
not serve to make protestants parties to

Advisory Panel; Request for
Comments

ACTION: Notice.
AGENCY:
This notice provides the
names, addresses, professional
affiliations, and selected biographical
data of persons nominated to serve on
the Scientific Advisory Panel (SAP)
established under section 25(d) of the
Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and
Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). The Panel was
created on November 28, 1975, and
made a statutory Panel by amendment
to FIFRA, dated October 25, 1988. The
Agency, at this time, anticipates
selecting two new members to serve on
the panel as a result of membership
terms that will expire this year. Public
comment on the nominations is invited,
as these comments will be used to assist
the Agency in selecting the new
chartered Panel members.
