Notice is hereby given that a complaint was filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission on July 16, 2015, under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, 19 U.S.C. 1337, on behalf of SawStop, LLC of Tualatin, Oregon and SD3, LLC of Tualatin, Oregon. An amended complaint was filed on July 30, 2015. The amended complaint alleges violations of section 337 based upon the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of certain table saws incorporating active injury mitigation technology and components thereof by reason of infringement of certain claims of U.S. Patent No. 7,225,712 (``the '712 patent''); U.S. Patent No. 7,600,455 (``the '455 patent''); U.S. Patent No. 7,610,836 (``the '836 patent''); U.S. Patent No. 7,895,927 (``the '927 patent''); U.S. Patent No. 8,011,279 (``the '279 patent''); and U.S. Patent No. 8,191,450 (``the '450 patent''). The Commission has instituted investigation No. 332-555, Economic Impact of Trade Agreements Implemented Under Trade Authorities Procedures, 2016 Report, for the purpose of preparing the first of two reports required by section 105(f)(2) of the Bipartisan Congressional Trade Priorities and Accountability Act of 2015 (Public Law 114-26). Section 105(f)(2) requires that the Commission submit to the House Committee on Ways and Means and the Senate Committee on Finance two reports, one by June 29, 2016, and a second by June 29, 2020, on the economic impact on the United States of all trade agreements with respect to which Congress has enacted an implementing bill under trade authorities procedures since January 1, 1984.
