Dodd-Frank Investor Advisory Committee
The Securities and Exchange Commission Investor Advisory Committee, established pursuant to Section 911 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010, is providing notice that it will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, in Multi- Purpose Room LL-006 at the Commission's headquarters, 100 F Street NE., Washington, DC 20549. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. (EDT) and end at 4:00 p.m. and will be open to the public, except for a one-hour administrative session between noon and 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be Web cast on the Commission's Web site at www.sec.gov. Persons needing special accommodations to take part because of a disability should notify the contact person listed below. The public is invited to submit written statements to the Committee. The agenda for the meeting includes initial remarks by Commissioners, introduction of the Committee members, consideration of the Committee's charter and bylaws, discussion of administrative issues, selection of Committee officers, and discussion of issues for potential consideration by the Committee and division of responsibilities.

The Chairmen of the SEC and CFTC, with the concurrence of the other SEC and CFTC Commissioners, respectively, intend to renew the charter of the Joint CFTC-SEC Advisory Committee on Emerging Regulatory Issues (the ``Committee'').

Summary of the Application: Applicants request an order to exempt certain limited liability companies formed for the benefit of eligible employees of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and its affiliates from certain provisions of the Act. Each limited liability company will be an ``employees' securities company'' within the meaning of section 2(a)(13) of the Act.
