Aeronautics Science and Technology Subcommittee; Committee on Technology; National Science and Technology Council
The Aeronautics Science and Technology Subcommittee (ASTS) of the National Science and Technology Council's (NSTC) Committee on Technology will hold a public meeting to review and discuss the National Aeronautics RDT&E Infrastructure Plan. Executive Order (E.O.) 13419National Aeronautics Research and Developmentsigned December 20, 2006, calls for the development of this plan. The plan is guided by both the National Aeronautics Research and Development (R&D) Policy and the National Aeronautics Research and Development Plan that were developed by the NSTC in consonance with E.O. 13419. Dates and Addresses: The meeting will be held in conjunction with the 49th AIAA Aerospace Sciences Meeting at the Orlando World Center Marriott, 8701 World Center Drive, Orlando, Florida 32821 on Friday, January 7, 2011, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Crystal Ballroom A. Information regarding the 49th AIAA Aerospace Sciences Meeting is available at the: https://www.aiaa.org Web site. Note: Persons solely attending this ASTS public meeting do not need to register for the AIAA Conference and Exhibit to attend this public meeting. There will be no admission charge for persons solely attending the public meeting. Seating is limited and will be on a first come, first served basis.

U.S. National Climate Assessment Objectives, Proposed Topics, and Next Steps
The purpose of this notice is to enhance the value of the National Climate Assessment (NCA), a project of the U.S. Global Change Research Program, by engaging people who are interested in climate issues and requesting specific input on the outline for the next NCA synthesis report, to be delivered to Congress and published in June 2013. This notice refers to the NCA Objectives, Proposed Topics, and Next Steps (https://globalchange.gov/hat-we-do/assessment/notices). Public comments received on these documents will be evaluated and, if appropriate, used to inform the NCA structure and process. Updates on the NCA structure and process will be posted on the NCA Web site (https://globalchange.gov/what-we-do/assessment) as they are available. Comments will also be provided to the Federal Advisory Committee for the NCA, the ``National Climate Assessment Development and Advisory Committee,'' when it is constituted this fall. All comments will be collated and posted on the NCA Web site. NNI Strategic Plan 2010; Request for Information
The purpose of this RFI is to enhance the value of the National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) by reaching out to the nanotechnology stakeholder community for specific input for the next NNI Strategic Plan to be published in December 2010. This RFI refers to the NNI Goals identified from the 2007 Strategic Plan (https:// www.nano.gov/NNI_Strategic_Plan_2007.pdf) as a starting point for questions covering themes such as research priorities, investment, coordination, partnerships, evaluation, and policy.

The National Nanotechnology Coordination Office (NNCO), on behalf of the Nanoscale Science, Engineering, and Technology (NSET) Subcommittee of the Committee on Technology, National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), will hold a workshop on July 13-14, 2010, to provide an open forum to obtain input from stakeholders regarding the goals and objectives of an updated U.S. National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) Strategic Plan that is currently under development and scheduled for completion by December 2010. Representatives of the U.S. research community, industry, non-governmental organizations, and interested members of the general public are invited to offer suggestions to the U.S. Government interagency task force that is drafting the new plan, which is an update of the December 2007 NNI Strategic Plan (see https://www.nano.gov/NNI_Strategic_Plan_ 2007.pdf). In particular, the agencies participating in the NNI are seeking input on the specific objectives that should be included in the updated plan under each of the overarching NNI goals, and on the most likely approaches for achieving those objectives.

The National Nanotechnology Coordination Office (NNCO), on behalf of the Nanoscale Science, Engineering, and Technology (NSET) Subcommittee of the Committee on Technology, National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), will hold a workshop on March 30-31, 2010, to provide an open forum to discuss the state-of-the-art of the science related to environmental, health, and safety aspects of nanomaterials in two areas: Risk Management Methods and Ethical, Legal, and Societal Implications (ELSI) of Nanotechnology. Risk Management Methods is one of the five environmental, health, and safety research categories identified in the NSET Subcommittee document Strategy for Nanotechnology-Related Environmental, Health, and Safety Research (https://www.nano.gov/NNI_EHS_Research_Strategy.pdf), which was released February 14, 2008.

Subcommittee on Forensic Science; Committee on Science; National Science and Technology Council
The Subcommittee on Forensic Science (SOFS) of the National Science and Technology Council's (NSTC's) Committee on Science will host a public forum in collaboration with the annual scientific meeting of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS). The role of the SOFS is to coordinate Federal activities and advise the Executive Office of the President on national efforts to improve forensic science and its application in America's justice system. This special session will serve to provide attendees with an update on the Subcommittee's work and provide an opportunity for the public to ask questions and provide comments.
