This collection was developed as part of a Federal Government-wide effort to streamline the process for seeking feedback from the public on service delivery. This notice announces DOE's intent to submit this collection to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for approval and solicits comments on specific aspects of the proposed information collection.
Notice of Request for Information (RFI) on Expanding Hydropower and Pumped Storage's Contribution to Grid Resiliency and Reliability
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), Water Power Technologies Office (WPTO) seeks information from the public on understanding, accessing, and utilizing the full potential of the hydropower fleet, including pumped storage, to contribute to electric grid resiliency and reliability. The WPTO also seeks information about opportunities for the existing and potential pumped storage and hydropower fleet to expand its contribution to the grid in the future. This information will help WPTO develop a research portfolio that intends to lower system costs, bring insight to hydropower technology development and research investments, promote optimization of hydroelectric resources, and ultimately support a more secure and reliable electric power system. WPTO seeks concise feedback from all relevant stakeholders.

Final Determination Regarding Energy Efficiency Improvements in ANSI/ASHRAE/IES Standard 90.1-2016: Energy Standard for Buildings, Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings
After receiving and reviewing public comments, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) issues this Order finalizing DOE's determination that the 2016 edition of the ANSI/ASHRAE/IES Standard 90.1: Energy Standard for Buildings, Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings improves overall energy efficiency in buildings subject to the code compared to the 2013 edition of Standard 90.1.
Energy Conservation Program: Energy Conservation Standards Program Design
The Department of Energy (DOE) published, on November 28, 2017, a Request for Information (RFI) seeking comments from interested parties to assist DOE in evaluating the potential advantages and disadvantages of additional flexibilities in the U.S. Appliance and Equipment Energy Conservations Standards (ECS) program. The comment period for the RFI ends on February 26, 2018. Through this notice, DOE extends the comment period until March 26, 2018.

Notice of Intent To Prepare a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for Decommissioning and/or Long-Term Stewardship at the West Valley Demonstration Project and Western New York Nuclear Service Center, Notice of Floodplain and Wetlands Involvement, and Draft Scope
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) announce their intent to jointly prepare a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for Decommissioning and/or Long-Term Stewardship at the West Valley Demonstration Project and Western New York Nuclear Service Center (DOE/ EIS-0226-S1), hereinafter referred to as the Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) for the West Valley Site, and to conduct a public scoping process. The West Valley Site, for the purposes of this SEIS and associated documents, includes the DOE West Valley Demonstration Project (WVDP) or Project Premises, and the retained premises, which includes the Western New York Nuclear Service Center (WNYNSC), and the State-Licensed Disposal Area (SDA). In 2010, DOE and NYSERDA decided to implement the Phased Decision-making Alternative, which was the preferred alternative in the Final Environmental Impact Statement for Decommissioning and/or Long-Term Stewardship at the West Valley Demonstration Project and Western New York Nuclear Service Center (DOE/EIS-0226) (2010 Final EIS). With this Notice of intent and draft scope, DOE and NYSERDA are initiating the public scoping process for the SEIS and requesting comments to help define the environmental issues and the range of reasonable alternatives to be analyzed.

Commission Information Collection Activities (FERC-598); Comment Request; Extension
In compliance with the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission or FERC) is soliciting public comment on the currently approved information collection, FERC-598 (Self-Certification for Entities Seeking Exempt Wholesale Generator Status or Foreign Utility Company Status) and submitting the information collection to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review. Any interested person may file comments directly with OMB and should address a copy of those comments to the Commission as explained below. The Commission published a Notice in the Federal Register in Docket No. IC18-1-000 on December 11, 2017 requesting public comments. FERC received no comments in response to the Notice and is indicating that in its submittal to the OMB.

Take notice that on February 1, 2018, pursuant to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's (Commission) Rules of Practice and Procedure, Airlines for America and the National Propane Gas Association submit this Petition for Rulemaking (Petition), and respectfully request that the Commission issue a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking expanding its affiliate Standards of Conduct for Transmission Providers regulations to the crude oil, natural gas liquid, and petroleum product pipeline industry, as more fully explained in the petition.
