On February 14, 2007, we published in the Federal Register (72 FR 7325 and 7328) two notices inviting applications (NIAs) for new awards for FY 2007 for the RERC for Accessible Medical Instrumentation and the RERC for Workplace Accommodations competitions. Each of the NIAs contained an incorrect date for the deadline of transmittal of applications. In the NIA for the RERC for Accessible Medical Instruction (CFDA No. 84.133E-6), on pages 7325 and 7326, first columns, ``Deadline for Transmittal of Applications: April 30, 2007'' is corrected to read ``Deadline for Transmittal of Applications: April 16, 2007.'' In the NIA for the RERC for Workplace Accommodations (CFDA No. 84.133E-7), on pages 7328 and 7329, third columns, ``Deadline for Transmittal of Applications: April 30, 2007'' is corrected to read ``Deadline for Transmittal of Applications: April 16, 2007.''

Safe Schools/Healthy Students
The Departments of Education (ED), Health and Human Services (HHS), and Justice (DOJ) issue this notice to propose priorities, requirements, selection criteria, and definitions for the Safe Schools/ Healthy Students (SS/HS) Initiative. We propose this action to focus Federal financial assistance on safe, disciplined, and drug-free learning environments and healthy childhood development. We intend the priorities to support the implementation and enhancement of integrated, comprehensive community-wide plans that create safe and drug-free schools and promote healthy childhood development. The Assistant Deputy Secretary may use these proposed priorities, requirements, selection criteria, and definitions for competitions in fiscal year (FY) 2007 and later years.
Ohio Department of Health; Written Findings and Decision of the Secretary and Compliance Agreement Under the Infants and Toddlers With Disabilities Program-Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act
Section 457 of the General Education Provisions Act (GEPA) authorizes the U.S. Department of Education (Department) to enter into a compliance agreement with a recipient that is failing to comply substantially with Federal program requirements. In order to enter into a compliance agreement, the Department must determine, in written findings, that the recipient cannot comply with the applicable program requirements until a future date and that a compliance agreement is a viable means of bringing about such compliance. On November 8, 2006, the Department entered into a compliance agreement with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). Under section 457(b)(2) of GEPA, the written findings and decision and compliance agreement must be published in the Federal Register.

Improving Literacy through School Libraries Program
The Deputy Secretary of Education announces a priority under the Improving Literacy Through School Libraries Program. The Deputy Secretary may use this priority for competitions in fiscal year (FY) 2007 and later years. We take this action to allow for the best use of Federal funding to improve school library media centers in low-income communities. We intend for this priority to help strengthen the connection between school libraries and the instructional programs in these schools and districts.

National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research-Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects and Centers Program-Disability Rehabilitation Research Projects (DRRPs) and Rehabilitation Engineering Research Centers (RERCs)
The Assistant Secretary for Special Education and Rehabilitative Services announces certain funding priorities for the Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects and Centers Program administered by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR). Specifically, this notice announces four final priorities for DRRPs and seven priorities for RERCs. The Assistant Secretary may use these priorities for competitions in fiscal year (FY) 2007 and later years. We take this action to focus research attention on areas of national need. We intend these priorities to improve rehabilitation services and outcomes for individuals with disabilities. Effective Date: These priorities are effective March 16, 2007.

Minority Science and Engineering Improvement Program
The Secretary intends to use the grant slate developed for the Minority Science and Engineering Improvement Program in Fiscal Year (FY) 2006 to make new grant awards in FY 2007. The Secretary takes this action because a significant number of high-quality applications remain on last year's slate, and limited funding is available for new grant awards in FY 2007.
