Magnesium Metal From the Russian Federation: Final Results of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review

On May 13, 2010, the Department of Commerce published the preliminary results of the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on magnesium metal from the Russian Federation. The review covers two manufacturers/exporters, PSC VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation (AVISMA) and Solikamsk Magnesium Works (SMW). The period of review (POR) is April 1, 2008, through March 31, 2009. Based on our analysis of the comments received we have made no changes in the margin for AVISMA. Therefore, the final results do not differ from the preliminary results. The final margin for AVISMA is listed below in the section entitled ``Final Results of the Review.''

This rescission, in part, is based on the timely withdrawal of the request for review by the interested parties that requested the review. Additionally, the Department is extending the preliminary results of this administrative review to no later than January 7, 2011.

Final Results of Expedited Sunset Review: Heavy Iron Construction Castings from Brazil

On May 3, 2010, the Department of Commerce (``the Department'') initiated the third sunset review of the countervailing duty order (``CVD'') on heavy iron construction castings from Brazil pursuant to section 751(c) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (``the Act''). On the basis of a notice of intent to participate and an adequate substantive response filed on behalf of the domestic interested parties and an inadequate response from respondent interested parties (in this case, no response), the Department conducted an expedited sunset review of the CVD order pursuant to section 751(c)(3)(B) of the Act and 19 CFR 351.218(e)(1)(ii)(B). As a result of this sunset review, the Department finds that revocation of the CVD order would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of a countervailable subsidy at the level indicated in the ``Final Results of Review'' section of this notice.

On April 28, 2010, the Department of Commerce published the preliminary results of the administrative reviews of the antidumping duty orders on ball bearings and parts thereof from France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom. The reviews cover 22 manufacturers/exporters. The period of review is May 1, 2008, through April 30, 2009.

This announcement covers selection for International Buyer Program participation for calendar year 2012 (January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012). The Department of Commerce (``the Department'') has received requests to conduct administrative reviews of various antidumping and countervailing duty orders and findings with July anniversary dates. In accordance with the Department's regulations, we are initiating those administrative reviews. The Department also received a request to defer the initiation of administrative review for one antidumping duty order.
