Notice of Intent To Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the Proposed Competitive Mineral Materials Sale (COC-078119) at Parkdale, Fremont County, CO
In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended (NEPA), and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Royal Gorge Field Office, Ca[ntilde]on City, Colorado, intends to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Proposed Competitive Mineral Materials Sale at Parkdale, Fremont County, Colorado. This notice announces the beginning of the scoping process to solicit public comments and identify issues for the EIS.
Notice of Proposed Filing of Plats of Survey; Montana
The plats of survey for the lands described in this notice are scheduled to be officially filed 30 calendar days after the date of this publication in the BLM Montana State Office, Billings, Montana. The surveys, which were executed at the request of the Director, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Rocky Mountain Region, Billings, Montana, are necessary for the management of these lands.
Public Land Order No. 7881; Partial Revocation Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Withdrawal; Florida
This Order revokes the withdrawal created by two Executive Orders insofar as they affect 16.41 acres of land reserved for the United States Coast Guard's (USCG) Jupiter Lighthouse site. The land is no longer needed for lighthouse purposes. This Order also returns administrative jurisdiction of the land to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to continue to be managed as part of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area.
Notice of Application for Withdrawal Extension and Notification of Public Meeting, Lake Roosevelt Expansion Area; Arizona
The Assistant SecretaryLand and Minerals Management proposes to extend the duration of Public Land Order (PLO) No. 7420 for an additional 20-year term. PLO No. 7420 withdrew 9,175 acres of National Forest System lands from location and entry under the United States mining laws, but not from leasing under the mineral leasing laws. The purpose of the withdrawal is to protect the Bureau of Reclamation's (BOR) Lake Roosevelt expansion area. This Notice also gives the public an opportunity to comment on the withdrawal extension application, and announces the date, time, and location of the public meeting.
Notice of Realty Action: Recreation and Public Purposes Act Classification: Nevada
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has examined these public lands in Clark County, Nevada, and has found them suitable for classification for lease or conveyance to Clark County School District under the provisions of the Recreation and Public Purposes (R&PP) Act, as amended; Sec. 7 of the Taylor Grazing Act; and Executive Order No. 6910. Clark County School District proposes to use the land to develop a middle school. The area described contains 30 acres in the southwest portion of the Las Vegas Valley, Clark County, Nevada.
Notice of Availability of the Bears Ears National Monument Indian Creek and Shash Jáa Units Proposed Monument Management Plans and Final Environmental Impact Statement, Utah
In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Canyon Country District Office, in coordination with the United States Forest Service (USFS), Manti-La Sal National Forest, has prepared the Proposed Monument Management Plans (MMPs) and Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Bears Ears National Monument (BENM) Indian Creek and Shash J[aacute]a Units and by this notice is announcing its availability and the opening of a protest period concerning the Proposed MMPs. In accordance with the John D. This Order partially revokes seven Public Land Orders (PLOs) insofar as they affect 1,151,877.36 acres of public lands reserved for study and classification as appropriate by the Department of the Interior. Public Land Order No. 7880, Partial Revocation of Public Land Orders No. 5176 and 5179, Alaska
This Order partially revokes two Public Land Orders (PLOs) insofar as they affect 217,486 acres of public lands reserved for study and classification as appropriate by the Department of the Interior. The purposes for which these lands were withdrawn no longer exist as described in the analysis and decisions made through the 2007 East Alaska Resource Management Plan (East Alaska RMP).
Notice of Realty Action: Proposed Competitive Sale in White Pine County, Nevada
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) proposes to offer, by competitive sale, three parcels of public land totaling 431.53 acres in White Pine County, Nevada, pursuant to the White Pine County Conservation, Recreation, and Development Act of 2006 (WPCCRDA). Temporary Closure and Temporary Restrictions of Specific Uses on Public Lands for the 2019 Burning Man Event (Permitted Event), Pershing County, NV
Under the authority of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended (FLPMA), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Winnemucca District, Black Rock Field Office, will implement a temporary closure and temporary restrictions to protect public safety and resources on public lands both within and adjacent to the proposed Permitted Event on the Black Rock Desert playa.
Notice of Temporary Closure of Public Land in Washoe County, Nevada
As authorized under the provisions of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, et seq., the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is issuing a temporary closure to restrict all public use on certain public land, roads, routes and trails located near Stead, Nevada, for public safety during the Reno Air Racing Association's annual Pylon Racing Seminar events and National Championship Air Races events authorized by a Special Recreation Permit (SRP). The temporary closure is in effect for the Pylon Racing Seminar events which take place annually during a five-day period at the beginning of June, and the National Championship Air Races which take place annually during a nine-day period in September. The temporary closures will take place during these periods of time every year from 2019 to 2023.
Required Fees for Mining Claims or Sites
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is issuing this final rule to make statutorily required adjustments to its location and maintenance fees for unpatented mining claims, mill sites, and tunnel sites. These adjustments reflect changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), which is published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
