Second Call for Nominations for the Rio Grande Natural Area Commission, CO
The purpose of this notice is to request public nominations for a vacancy on the Rio Grande Natural Area Commission (Commission). The nine-member Commission advises the Secretary of the Interior through the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) with respect to the Rio Grande Natural Area (Natural Area) and on matters concerning the preparation and implementation of a management plan relating to non-Federal land in the Natural Area. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has examined and found suitable for classification for lease and subsequent conveyance to the City of Durango, under the provisions of the Recreation and Public Purposes Act (R&PP), as amended, and the Taylor Grazing Act, approximately 3.859 acres of public land in La Plata County, Colorado. Eastern States: Filing of Plats of Survey
On Thursday, January 3, 2013, there was published in the Federal Register, Volume 78, Number 2, on pages 318-319 a notice entitled ``Eastern States: Filing of Plats of Survey, North Carolina''. Said notice referenced the stay of the plat of the dependent resurvey of a portion of the Qualla Indian Boundary, land held in trust for the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians in Swain County, in the state of North Carolina. This survey was accepted December 19, 2012. The protest against the survey was dismissed on August 16, 2013 and the plat of survey accepted December 19, 2012, was officially filed in Eastern States Office, Springfield, Virginia, at 7:30 a.m., on August 16, 2013. Copies of the plat will be made available upon request and prepayment of the reproduction fee of $7.50 per copy.

Notice To Extend Mineral Segregation for the Proposed Silver State Solar Project Near Primm in Clark County, Nevada
Publication of this notice serves to extend the segregation of the identified lands for an additional two years from appropriation pursuant to the public land laws, including location pursuant to the General Mining Act, but not the Mineral Lands Leasing Act or the authority of the Materials Act of 1947, subject to valid existing rights in existence prior to the original segregation. This segregation extension is warranted to provide for the orderly administration of the public lands to facilitate the development of valuable renewable energy resources and to avoid conflicts between renewable energy generation and mining claims.
Notice of Relocation of the Bureau of Land Management's San Pedro Project Office in Sierra Vista, AZ
This notice announces the relocation of the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) San Pedro Project Office (SPPO), temporary closure of the office during the relocation, and reopening in its new location. Both current and new offices are in the Sierra Vista area within Cochise County, Arizona. On Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at the close of business (4 p.m.), the BLM SPPO will close for the purpose of relocation. The SPPO provides support staff for the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area and fire and resource management for the area. Notice of Temporary Closure to Target Shooting on Public Lands in Yakima County, WA
Notice is hereby given that a closure to target shooting is in effect on public lands administered by the Wenatchee Field Office, Spokane District, Bureau of Land Management (BLM). After review and coordination with special interest groups at the local, State, and Federal levels, this temporary closure is in response to target shooting on public lands that poses immediate, serious risks to the safety of nearby residents and participants themselves. The temporary closure is enacted to protect public health and safety.
