Activities: Prior Disclosure
U.S. Customs and Border
Protection (CBP), Department of
Homeland Security.
ACTION: 60-Day Notice and request for
comments; Extension of an existing
collection of information.
AGENCY:
As part of its continuing effort
to reduce paperwork and respondent
burden, CBP invites the general public
and other Federal agencies to comment
on an information collection
requirement concerning Prior
Disclosure. This request for comment is
being made pursuant to the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1995 (Pub. L. 104–13).
DATES: Written comments should be
received on or before November 12,
2013 to be assured of consideration.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: CBP
invites the general public and other
Federal agencies to comment on
proposed and/or continuing information
collections pursuant to the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1995 (Pub. L. 104–13).
The comments should address: (a)
Whether the collection of information is
necessary for the proper performance of
the functions of the agency, including
whether the information shall have
practical utility; (b) the accuracy of the
agency’s estimates of the burden of the
collection of information; (c) ways to
enhance the quality, utility, and clarity
of the information to be collected; (d)
ways to minimize the burden including
the use of automated collection
techniques or the use of other forms of
information technology; and (e) the
annual cost burden to respondents or
record keepers from the collection of
information (total capital/startup costs
and operations and maintenance costs).
The comments that are submitted will
be summarized and included in the CBP
request for Office of Management and
Budget (OMB) approval. All comments

In this document CBP is soliciting
comments concerning the following
information collection:
Title: Prior Disclosure.
OMB Number: 1651–0074.
Form Number: None.
Abstract: The Prior Disclosure
program establishes a method for a
potential violator to disclose to CBP that
they have committed an error or a
violation with respect to the legal
requirements of entering merchandise
into the United States, such as
underpaid tariffs or duties, or
misclassified merchandise. The
procedure for making a prior disclosure
is set forth in 19 CFR 162.74 which
requires that respondents submit
information about the merchandise
involved, a specification of the false
statements or omissions, and what the
true and accurate information should
be. A valid prior disclosure will entitle
the disclosing party to the reduced
penalties pursuant to 19 U.S.C.
1592(c)(4).
Current Actions: CBP proposes to
extend the expiration date of this
information collection with no change
to the burden hours or to the
information collected.
Type of Review: Extension (without
change).
Affected Public: Businesses.

Twin Falls District RAC members will
meet at the Best Western Sawtooth Inn
at 2653 S. Lincoln Street, Jerome, Idaho.
The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. and
end no later than 4:00 p.m. The public
comment period for the RAC meeting
will take place 9:10 a.m. to 9:40 a.m.

there will be an update on the Craters
of the Moon National Monument
Resource Management Plan (RMP)
Amendment, and updates on both the
Jarbidge RMP as well as the BLM’s
National Greater Sage-Grouse Planning
Strategy.
Additional topics may be added and
will be included in local media
announcements. More information is

resource_advisory.3.html. RAC meetings
are open to the public. For further
