Pursuant to the Act, interested parties are requested to respond to this notice by submitting the information specified below to the Commission.
Claims-Collection Regulation
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) seeks public comment on a proposed rule to revise its regulation on claims collection in its entirety to incorporate applicable statutory and regulatory provisions and to make other changes. Specifically, an amendment made by the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act of 2014 (DATA Act) requires USAID to refer to the Secretary of the Treasury all past-due, legally enforceable, non-tax debt that are over 120 days delinquent. The changes will maximize the effectiveness of USAID's claim-collection procedures.
Further Streamlining FCC Rules Governing Satellite Services
In this document, the Federal Communications Commission (Commission or we) streamlines its rules governing satellite services by creating an optional framework for the authorization of blanket- licensed earth stations and space stations in a satellite system through a unified license. The Commission also aligns the build-out requirements for earth stations and space stations and eliminates unnecessary reporting rules.
