The Department of Transportation (DOT) invites public comments about our intention to request the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval to renew an information collection. The collection involves Transportation Drug and Alcohol Testing. The information to be collected will be used to document tests conducted and actions taken to ensure safety in the workplace and/or is necessary because under the Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991, DOT is required to implement a drug and alcohol testing program in various transportation- related industries. DOT is required to publish this notice in the Federal Register in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, Public Law 104-13.

The Defense Finance and Accounting Service proposes to alter a system of records, T7905, entitled ``Labor Cost and Reporting System'' in its inventory of record systems subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended. This system will account for employee labor costs.

The Defense Finance and Accounting Service proposes to alter a system of records, T5020, entitled ``Freedom of Information Act Request'' in its inventory of record systems subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended. This system will enable DFAS to track inquiries and communications received and processed to include questions involving the Saving Deposit Program, and allow management to capture benchmark reporting in order to track the turn-around time on financial inquiries.
