Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area Advisory Council
This notice announces the annual meeting of the Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area Advisory Council. The agenda includes updates from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, the Boston Harbor Island Alliance, and the National Park Service about project, program, marketing, and water transportation plans for the 2015 Season. There will also be a discussion about the Council's mission, goals, and community outreach initiative. The Council will hold elections for officers and nominate Council representatives to the Boston Harbor Islands Partnership. Superintendent Giles Parker will also give updates about park operations and planning efforts.
Proposed Information Collection; Comment Request: A Survey of Direct Recreational Uses Along the Colorado River
We (National Park Service) are asking the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to approve the Information Collection Request (ICR) described below. The National Park Service (NPS) is requesting approval of a new collection that will be collected in collaboration with the U.S. Geological Survey's Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research Center and used to provide information concerning the direct recreational uses along the Colorado Riverspecifically the stretch between the Glen Canyon Dam and Lee's Ferry. To comply with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 and as a part of our continuing efforts to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, we invite the general public and other Federal agencies to comment on this ICR.

Establishment of a New Fee Area at Congaree National Park
Congaree National Park in South Carolina plans to collect expanded amenity recreation fees at the Longleaf Campground and Bluff Campground beginning in early 2015. Revenue will be used to cover the cost of collections at the campground and for deferred maintenance in the park.

If the work of the SRC is completed on Thursday, February 26, 2015, the SRC will not meet on Friday, February 27, 2015. Off-Road Vehicle Management Plan, Final Environmental Impact Statement, Lake Meredith National Recreation Area, Texas
The National Park Service (NPS) announces the availability of a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Off-Road Vehicle Management Plan (Plan), Lake Meredith National Recreation Area, Texas. The Plan/FEIS evaluates the impacts of four alternatives that address off-road vehicle (ORV) management in the national recreation area.
Alaska; Hunting and Trapping in National Preserves-Reopening of Public Comment Period
The National Park Service is reopening the public comment period for the proposed rule to amend its regulations for sport hunting and trapping in National Preserves in Alaska. The proposed rule also includes updates to procedures for closing an area or restricting an activity in National Park Service Areas in Alaska and other minor changes. Reopening the comment period for 31 days will allow more time for the public to review the proposal and submit comments.
Record of Decision for the General Management Plan: Gulf Islands National Seashore, Florida and Mississippi
The National Park Service (NPS) announces the availability of the Record of Decision (ROD) for the General Management Plan (GMP) for Gulf Islands National Seashore (National Seashore). On September 11, 2014, the Regional Director, Southeast Region, approved the ROD for the project.
