The current clearance expires on July 31, 2020.
Rules and Regulations Under the Textile Fiber Products Identification Act
The Federal Trade Commission (``FTC'' or ``Commission'') proposes amending the Rules and Regulations under the Textile Fiber Products Identification Act (``Textile Rules'' or ``Rules'') to incorporate the most recent ISO 2076 standard for generic fiber names. The proposed amendment should reduce compliance costs and increase flexibility for firms providing textile fiber information to consumers.
Funeral Industry Practices Rule
The Federal Trade Commission (``FTC'' or ``Commission'') is requesting public comment on its Trade Regulation Rule entitled ``Funeral Industry Practices Rule'' (``Funeral Rule'' or ``Rule''). The Rule defines unfair and deceptive practices in the sale of funeral goods and services and prescribes preventive requirements to protect against these practices. The Commission is soliciting comments about the efficiency, costs, benefits, and regulatory impact of the Rule as part of its systematic review of all current Commission regulations and guides.
