The Surface Transportation Board is publishing the Acting Chairman's agenda of rulemaking actions pursuant to the Regulatory Flexibility Act (RFA) (Pub. L. 96-354, 94 Stat. 1164) (Sep. 19, 1980). The items listed in the Regulatory Flexibility Agenda for fall 2017 reflect the priorities of the Acting Chairman of the Surface Transportation Board and do not necessarily reflect the priorities of any other individual Board Member. Listed below are the regulatory actions to be developed or reviewed during the next 12 months. The Surface Transportation Board (Board) is issuing a final rule to implement the annual inflationary adjustment to its civil monetary penalties, pursuant to the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015.
