Currently Approved Information Collection: Comment Request for Customer Satisfaction and Opinion Surveys and Focus Group Interviews
The Department of the Treasury invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on currently approved information collection 1525-0015, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, Public Law 104-13 (44 U.S.C. 3506(c)(2)(A)). Currently, the United States Mint, a bureau of the Department of the Treasury, is soliciting comments on the United States Mint customer satisfaction and opinion surveys and focus group interviews.
Definitions of Transmittal of Funds and Funds Transfer
The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, a bureau of the Department of the Treasury, and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System are issuing this Final Rule amending the regulatory definitions of ``funds transfer'' and ``transmittal of funds'' under the regulations implementing the Bank Secrecy Act (``BSA''). We are amending the definitions to maintain their current scope in light of changes to the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, which will avoid certain currently covered transactions being excluded from BSA requirements.
