opportunity to comment on proposed
and/or continuing information
collections, as required by the
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995,
Public Law 104–13 (44 U.S.C.
3506(c)(2)(A)). Currently, the IRS is
soliciting comments concerning an
existing data-driven satisfaction surveys
to understand customer opinion.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Currently,
the IRS is seeking comments concerning
the following information collection
tools, reporting, and record-keeping
requirements:
Title: IRS Omnibus Surveys.
OMB Number: 1545–NEW. Form
Number: N/A.
Abstract: We are requesting a threeyear approval to use a data-driven
approach to understanding customer
opinion of the Internal Revenue Service
(IRS) and its programs and services.
Collecting, analyzing, and using
customer opinion data is a vital
component of IRS’s Balanced Measures
Approach, as mandated by Internal
Revenue Service Reform and
Restructuring Act of 1998 and Executive
Order 12862.
Current Actions: This is a new request
for OMB approval.
Type of Review: New collection.
Affected Public: This collection of
information is necessary to enable the
Agency to garner customer and
stakeholder feedback in an efficient,
timely manner, in accordance with our
commitment to improving service
delivery. The information collected
from our customers and stakeholders
will help ensure that users have an
effective, efficient, and satisfying
experience with the Agency’s programs.
This feedback will provide insights into
customer or stakeholder perceptions,
experiences and expectations, provide
an early warning of issues with service,
or focus attention on areas where
communication, training or changes in
operations might improve delivery of
products or services. It will also allow
feedback to contribute directly to the
improvement of program management.
Estimated Number of Respondents:
90,000.
