Notice of Intent To Grant Exclusive Patent License; Premium Manufacturing Group
The Department of the Navy hereby gives notice of its intent to grant to Premium Manufacturing Group a revocable, nonassignable, exclusive license to practice in the field of use of a knife and knife components in the United States, the Government-owned inventions described in U.S. Patent No. 7,421,751 entitled ``Folding Knife Having Locking Portion, Clip Portion and Unsharpened Protrusion'', Navy Case No. 097,793 and any continuations, divisionals or re-issues thereof.
Privacy Act of 1974; System of Records
The U.S. Marine Corps proposes to alter the system of records, M05100-6, entitled ``MCB Camp Lejeune Historic Drinking Water Notification Registry'' in its inventory of record systems subject to the Privacy Act of 1974, as amended. This system is used to obtain and maintain contact information of people who may have been exposed to contaminated drinking water at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune or persons interested in the issue. Information is used to notify, update, or correspond with registrants.
Certifications and Exemptions Under the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972
The Department of the Navy (DoN) is amending its certifications and exemptions under the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972, as amended (72 COLREGS), to reflect that the Deputy Assistant Judge Advocate General (DAJAG)(Admiralty and Maritime Law) has determined that USS JOHN WARNER (SSN 785) is a vessel of the Navy which, due to its special construction and purpose, cannot fully comply with certain provisions of the 72 COLREGS without interfering with its special function as a naval ship. The intended effect of this rule is to warn mariners in waters where 72 COLREGS apply.
Notice of Intent To Grant Exclusive Patent License; Vivinostics LLC
The Department of the Navy hereby gives notice of its intent to grant an exclusive license to Vivinostics LLC of Gainesville, FL. The proposed license is a revocable, nonassignable, exclusive license to practice the inventions embodied in U.S. Pat. No. 7,128,714: NON- CONTACT WAVEFORM MONITOR; U.S. Pat. No. 8,177,721: REMOTE BLOOD PRESSURE WAVEFORM SENSING METHOD; and, U.S. Pat. No. 8,444,568 REMOTE BLOOD PRESSURE WAVEFORM SENSING METHOD throughout the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and all other United States territories and possessions. The Secretary of the Navy has an ownership interest in these inventions.
