Wildland Fire Executive Council Meeting Schedule
In accordance with the requirements of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. App., 2, the U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of the Secretary, Wildland Fire Executive Council (WFEC) will meet as indicated below.
Information Collection for IDEIA Part B and C Child Count; Comment Request
As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), U.S. Department of the Interior (Interior) is submitting a proposed information collection related to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA) to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review. The IDEIA provides that the Secretary of the Interior will allocate funding for the coordination of assistance for special education and related services for American Indian children 0 to 5 years of age with disabilities on reservations served by elementary schools for Indian children that are operated or funded by the Department of the Interior (``Bureau-funded schools''). The BIE allocates this funding to Tribes and Tribal organizations. In support of this allocation, the BIE collects information on the number of American Indian children 0 to 5 years of age with disabilities on reservations served by Bureau-funded schools. This notice requests comments on that information collection.
Information Collection Sent to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for Approval; OMB Control Number 1018-0066; Marine Mammal Marking, Tagging, and Reporting Certificates
We (U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service) have sent an Information Collection Request (ICR) to OMB for review and approval. We summarize the ICR below and describe the nature of the collection and the estimated burden and cost. This information collection is scheduled to expire on March 31, 2011. We may not conduct or sponsor and a person is not required to respond to a collection of information unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number. However, under OMB regulations, we may continue to conduct or sponsor this information collection while it is pending at OMB.
Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council; Notice of Meeting
The Department of the Interior, Office of the Secretary is announcing a public meeting of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Public Advisory Committee.
Aquatic Nuisance Species Task Force Meeting
This notice announces a meeting of the Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS) Task Force. The meeting is open to the public. The meeting topics are identified in the SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION section.
Landmarks Committee of the National Park System Advisory Board Meeting
Notice is hereby given in accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act [5 U.S.C. Appendix (1988)], that a meeting of the Landmarks Committee of the National Park System Advisory Board will be held beginning at 1 p.m. on May 24, 2011, at the following location. The meeting will continue beginning at 9 a.m. on May 25 and 26, 2011.
Final Determination Against Acknowledgment of the Juaneño Band of Mission Indians
The Department of the Interior (Department) gives notice that the Assistant Secretary-Indian Affairs (AS-IA) has determined the petitioner known as the Juane[ntilde]o Band of Mission Indians is not an Indian tribe within the meaning of Federal law. This notice is based on a determination that the petitioner does not satisfy all seven of the criteria set forth in 25 CFR 83.7, and therefore, does not meet the requirements for a government-to-government relationship with the United States.
