Army Privacy Act Program
The Department of the Army is amending its rule on notification of the Army Litigation Division when complaints citing the Privacy Act are filed in order to correct the mailing address in Sec. 505.12. The address for notifying the Army Litigation Division of cases citing the Privacy Act and filed in a U.S. District Court has changed.
The Freedom of Information Act
The Department of the Army is amending its rule on notification of the Army Litigation Division when a request is made for a record related to pending litigation involving the United States in order to correct the mailing address in Sec. 518.15 and Sec. 518.18. The address for notifying the U.S. Army Litigation Division of record requests related to litigation involving the United States has changed.
Privacy Act of 1974; System of Records
The Department of the Army proposes to reinstate five systems of records to its inventory of record systems to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended. After review, it has been determined that the records covered under this previously deleted notice (see 77 FR 13571-13573, March 7, 2012) were erroneously deleted; therefore these notices are being reinstated.
