Notice of Intent To Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for T-7a Recapitalization at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi
The Department of the Air Force (DAF) is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to assess the potential social, economic, and environmental impacts associated with T-7A Recapitalization at Columbus Air Force Base (AFB), Mississippi. The EIS will analyze the potential impacts from introduction of T-7A aircraft and flight operations at Columbus AFB and associated airspace; introduction of nighttime (between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.) T-7A flight operations; changes to the number of personnel and dependents in the Columbus AFB region; and construction and upgrade of support and maintenance facilities.

Department of Defense Commercial Air Transportation Quality and Safety Review Program
The Department of the Air Force (DAF) proposes to amend portions of its regulations in order to update and clarify references and terminology relating to the Department of Defense (DOD) Commercial Air Transportation Quality and Safety Review Program. It also extends to DOD contracts for charter air transportation services the existing DOD policy prohibiting the use of foreign air carriers who are not in compliance with International Civil Aviation Organization standards.

Consistent with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 and its implementing regulations, this document provides notice that DoD is submitting an Information Collection Request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to understand the senior level perspectives as it relates to direct or indirect barriers women face in advancing to executive leadership. DoD requests emergency processing and OMB authorization to collect the information after publication of this notice for a period of six months.
