The collection requires General Aviation (GA) aircraft operators to designate a security coordinator and adopt a DCA Access Standard Security Program (DASSP). The ICR describes the nature of the information collection and its expected burden. The collection involves the Federal Air Marshal Service maintenance of a database of all Federal, State, County, Municipal, Territorial, Tribal, and authorized railroad law enforcement agencies whose employees have received the Law Enforcement Officers Flying Armed Training course.
Aviation Security Advisory Committee; Public Meeting
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will hold a public meeting of the Aviation Security Advisory Committee (ASAC) on December 11, 2024. Members of the ASAC will meet in person at the TSA Headquarters. Members of the public will be able to participate virtually via Teams. TSA PreCheck® Application Program Fee
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) administers the TSA PreCheck[supreg] Application Program, in which individuals determined to be low-risk travelers may receive expedited airport security screening. To apply for TSA Precheck[supreg] eligibility, individuals submit biometric and biographic information that TSA uses to verify identity and conduct a security threat assessment and submit fees to cover the costs associated with the program. TSA announces in this Notice that, under certain circumstances, the membership renewal fee will be reduced by $11.25 due to changes related to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fee for criminal history checks.
Intent To Request Extension From OMB of One Current Public Collection of Information: Maryland Three Airports: Enhanced Security Procedures for Operations at Certain Airports in the Washington, DC, Metropolitan Area Flight Restricted Zone
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) invites public comment on one currently approved Information Collection Request (ICR), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) control number 1652-0029, that we will submit to OMB for an extension in compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA). The ICR describes the nature of the information collection and its expected burden. The collection is necessary to comply with a requirement for individuals to successfully complete a security threat assessment before operating an aircraft or serving as an airport security coordinator at one of the Maryland Three airports.
Enhancing Surface Cyber Risk Management
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is proposing to impose cyber risk management (CRM) requirements on certain pipeline and rail owner/operators and a more limited requirement, on certain over-the-road bus (OTRB) owner/operators, to report cybersecurity incidents. With the proposed addition of requirements applicable to pipeline facilities and systems, TSA is also proposing that a requirement to have a Physical Security Coordinator and report significant physical security concerns be extended to the same facilities and systems. Finally, TSA is proposing clarifications and reorganization of other regulatory requirements necessitated by these changes.
