Suspension of Community Eligibility
This rule identifies communities, where the sale of flood insurance has been authorized under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), that are scheduled for suspension on the effective dates listed within this rule because of noncompliance with the floodplain management requirements of the program. If the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) receives documentation that the community has adopted the required floodplain management measures prior to the effective suspension date given in this rule, the suspension will not occur and a notice of this will be provided by publication in the Federal Register on a subsequent date.
Final Flood Elevation Determinations
Base (1% annual-chance) Flood Elevations (BFEs) and modified BFEs are made final for the communities listed below. The BFEs and modified BFEs are the basis for the floodplain management measures that each community is required either to adopt or to show evidence of being already in effect in order to qualify or remain qualified for participation in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).

The Federal Emergency Management Agency, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on a proposed extension, without change, of a currently approved information collection. Procedural Changes to the Fire Management Assistance Declaration Process
By this final rule, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is updating its Fire Management Assistance Grant Program regulations to reflect a change in the internal delegation of authority for fire management assistance declarations, and resulting internal procedural changes that are impacted by the change in authority. FEMA is also making nomenclature changes to update names and titles to reflect recent changes to FEMA's organizational structure.
Recovery Policy, RP9525.7, Labor Costs-Emergency Work
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is accepting comments on RP9525.7, Labor CostsEmergency Work. This is an existing policy that is scheduled for review to ensure that Recovery Directorate policies are up to date, incorporate lessons learned and are consistent with current laws and regulations. The purpose of this policy is to provide guidance on eligible labor costs for an applicant's permanent, temporary, and contract employees who perform emergency work (Categories A and B).

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is accepting comments on Recovery Policy RP9525.16 Research-related Equipment and Furnishings. This is an existing policy that is scheduled for review to ensure that Recovery Directorate policies are consistent with current laws and regulations. This policy identifies the expenses associated with disaster-damaged research-related equipment and furnishings of eligible private nonprofit or public facilities that are eligible for reimbursement under the Public Assistance Program.

This is an existing policy that is scheduled for review to ensure that the Recovery Directorate policies are consistent with current laws and regulations. This policy identifies the extraordinary emergency medical care and medical evacuation expenses that are eligible for reimbursement under the Category B, Emergency Protective Measures provision of the Public Assistance Program following an emergency or major disaster declaration.
