Service Contract Inventory for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021
Through this notice, the Secretary announces the availability of the Department of Education's service contract inventory for FY 2021 on its website at www2.ed.gov/fund/data/report/contracts/ servicecontractinventoryappendix/servicecontractinventory.htm l. A service contract inventory is a tool for assisting the agency in better understanding how contracted services are being used to support mission and operations and whether contract labor is being utilized in an appropriate and effective manner.
Proposed Waiver and Extension of the Project Period with Funding for Rehabilitation Long-Term Training Grants
The Secretary proposes to waive the requirements in the Education Department General Administrative Regulations that generally prohibit project periods exceeding five years and project period extensions involving the obligation of additional Federal funds. The proposed waiver and extension would enable 51 projects under Assistance Listing Numbers (ALN) 84.129B, 84.129H, 84.129P, and 84.129Q to receive funding for an additional period, not to exceed September 30, 2025.
Proposed Waiver and Extension of the Project Period With Funding for Innovative Rehabilitation Training Grants
The Secretary proposes to waive the requirements in the Education Department General Administrative Regulations that generally prohibit project periods exceeding five years and project period extensions involving the obligation of additional Federal funds. The proposed waiver and extension would enable seven projects under Assistance Listing Number (ALN) 84.263C to receive funding for an additional period, not to exceed September 30, 2025.
