Certain Corrosion-Resistant Steel Products From India: Notice of Court Decision Not in Harmony With the Results of Countervailing Duty Administrative Review; Notice of Amended Final Results
On April 29, 2021, the U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT) issued its final judgment in Uttam Galva Steels Limited v. United States, Court no. 19-00044, sustaining the Department of Commerce (Commerce)'s second remand results pertaining to the administrative review of the countervailing duty (CVD) order on certain corrosion- resistant steel products (CORE) from India covering the period November 6, 2015, through December 31, 2016. Commerce is notifying the public that the CIT's final judgment is not in harmony with Commerce's final results of the administrative review, and that Commerce is amending the final results with respect to the countervailable subsidy rate assigned to Uttam Galva Steels Limited/ Uttam Value Steels Limited/Uttam Galva Metallics Limited (collectively, Uttam Galva).
Certain Non-Refillable Steel Cylinders From the People's Republic of China: Amended Final Antidumping Duty Determination and Antidumping Duty and Countervailing Duty Orders
Based on affirmative final determinations by the Department of Commerce (Commerce) and the International Trade Commission (ITC), Commerce is issuing antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on certain non-refillable steel cylinders (non-refillable cylinders) from the People's Republic of China (China). In addition, Commerce is amending its AD final determination to correct for certain ministerial errors.
Certain Steel Nails From the People's Republic of China: Preliminary Results of the Antidumping Duty Administrative Review and Preliminary Determination of No Shipments; 2019-2020
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determines that certain companies made sales of subject merchandise at less than normal value. The period of review (POR) is August 1, 2019, to July 31, 2020. Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary results.
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Article 1904; Binational Panel Review: Notice of Request for Panel Review; Correction
The Department of Commerce published a document in the Federal Register of May 3, 2021, in which it announced the Binational Panel issuing its Interim Decision and Order in the matter of Large Residential Washers from Mexico. That document incorrectly stated that the Notice was for a Request for Panel Review, as well as incorrectly stating the date of issuance of the Interim Decision.
