Request for Comment on Local Estimates of internet Adoption
The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) is seeking comments and recommendations regarding the project entitled, "Local Estimates of internet Adoption" (Project LEIA). Project LEIA is a new joint project of NTIA and the United States Census Bureau (Census Bureau) to develop model-based estimates of internet adoption for smaller populations than would typically be possible using survey data alone. We request input about potential uses of these estimates. We are also seeking suggestions for potential future improvements to the initial experimental model, as well as what additional sub-state geographies, small populations, indicators, or methods should be considered as future directions for Project LEIA.
Notice of Scope Ruling Applications Filed in Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Proceedings
The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) received scope ruling applications, requesting that scope inquiries be conducted to determine whether identified products are covered by the scope of antidumping duty (AD) and/or countervailing duty (CVD) orders and that Commerce issue scope rulings pursuant to those inquiries. In accordance with Commerce's regulations, we are notifying the public of the filing of the scope ruling applications listed below in the month of July 2024.
Glycine From India, Japan, and Thailand: Final Results of the Expedited First Sunset Reviews of the Antidumping Duty Orders
As a result of these expedited sunset reviews, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) finds that revocation of the antidumping duty (AD) orders on glycine from India, Japan, and Thailand would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping at the levels indicated in the "Final Results of Sunset Reviews" section of this notice.

Ripe Olives From Spain: Preliminary Results of Countervailing Duty Administrative Review and Partial Rescission of Review; 2022
The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily finds that certain producers/exporters of producers and exporters of ripe olives from Spain received countervailable subsidies during the period of review (POR), January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022. In addition, Commerce is rescinding the review, in part, with respect to three companies. Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary results.
Ripe Olives From Spain: Preliminary Results of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review, and Partial Rescission of Review; 2022-2023
The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily finds that producers/exporters subject to this administrative review made sales of subject merchandise at less than normal value during the period of review (POR), August 1, 2022, through July 31, 2023. In addition, we are rescinding the administrative review with respect to one company. We invite interested parties to comment on these preliminary results.
Certain Metal Lockers and Parts Thereof From the People's Republic of China: Preliminary Results and Intent To Rescind, in Part, of Countervailing Duty Administrative Review; 2022
The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determines that countervailable subsidies were provided to producers and exporters of certain metal lockers and parts thereof (metal lockers) from the People's Republic of China (China). The period of review (POR) is January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022. In addition, Commerce, intends to rescind this review with respect to four companies. Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary results.

Pacific Fishery Management Council; Public Meeting
The Groundfish Subcommittee of the Pacific Fishery Management Council's (Pacific Council) Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) will convene an online meeting to review the suitability of fish age estimates developed using Fourier Transformed Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-NIRS) for inclusion in groundfish stock assessments. The methodology review meeting is open to the public.
