The plats of survey of lands described in this notice are scheduled to be officially filed in the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Alaska State Office, Anchorage, Alaska. The surveys, which were executed at the request of the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the BLM, are necessary for the management of these lands.

The Las Vegas Field Office announces the temporary closure of certain public lands under its administration. The race area in the Jean/Roach Dry Lakes Special Recreation Management Area is used by off- highway vehicle (OHV) recreationists, and the temporary closure is needed to limit their access to the race area and to minimize the risk of potential collisions with spectators and racers during the 2021 Mint 400, the 2022 SNORE 250, and the 2022 Mint 400 Races.
Call for Nominations to the Steens Mountain Advisory Council
The purpose of this notice is to request public nominations to the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) Steens Mountain Advisory Committee. This citizen-based committee assists in the development of recommendations that address management of the Steens Mountain Cooperative Management and Protection Area and in promoting cooperative management under the Steens Act.
