The plats of survey of the following described lands are scheduled to be officially filed in the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Colorado State Office, Lakewood, Colorado, 30 calendar days from the date of this publication. These surveys were executed at the request of the National Park Service (NPS) and the BLM, and are necessary for the management of these lands.

In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended (NEPA), and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended (FLPMA), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Mount Lewis Field Office, Battle Mountain, Nevada, has prepared a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and by this notice is announcing the beginning of the public comment period to solicit public comments on the Draft Supplemental EIS. The Mount Hope Project (Project) is owned by Eureka Moly, LLC (EML) and is located in central Nevada, approximately 23 miles northwest of Eureka, Nevada. The BLM has prepared this Draft Supplemental EIS as a response to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit's remand decision for further action on issues identified in its December 28, 2016 decision.
