This notice announces the relocation of the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) San Pedro Project Office (SPPO), temporary closure of the office during the relocation, and reopening in its new location. Both current and new offices are in the Sierra Vista area within Cochise County, Arizona. On Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at the close of business (4 p.m.), the BLM SPPO will close for the purpose of relocation. The SPPO provides support staff for the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area and fire and resource management for the area. The office will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, August 26, 2013, at its new address. The SPPO telephone number will remain the same: 520-439-6400.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has examined and found suitable for classification for lease and subsequent conveyance under the provisions of the Recreation and Public Purposes (R&PP) Act, as amended, approximately 81.2 acres of public land in Carlsbad, Eddy County, New Mexico. The Carlsbad Municipal School District proposes to use the land for a kindergarten to fifth grade elementary school and a sixth to eighth grade middle school.

The purpose of this notice is to request public nominations to fill vacant positions on the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah Resource Advisory Council (RAC), which has two positions with terms expiring on January 12, 2014. The RAC provides advice and recommendations to the BLM on land use planning and management of the National System of Public Lands within Utah. The BLM will accept public nominations for 30 days after the publication of this notice.
