The Department of Labor, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, conducts a pre-clearance consultation program to provide the general public and Federal agencies with an opportunity to comment on proposed and continuing collections of information in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA). 44 U.S.C. 3506(c)(2)(A). This program helps to ensure that requested data can be provided in the desired format, reporting burden (time and financial resources) is minimized, collection instruments are clearly understood, and the impact of collection requirements on respondents can be properly assessed. Currently, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs is soliciting comments on its proposal to implement standard procedures for supply and service contractors seeking approval to develop affirmative action programs based on functional or business units. Currently, the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) is soliciting comments concerning the collection of data on the Form ETA- 9165, Employer-Provided Survey Attestations to Accompany H-2B Prevailing Wage Determination Request Based on a Non-OES Survey (OMB Control Number 1205-0516), which expires on October 31, 2015. A copy of the proposed information collection request can be obtained free of charge by contacting the office listed below in the addressee section of this notice. The form is used by employers in DOL's H-2B temporary non- agricultural employment-based program to collect information that demonstrates compliance with the new standards applicable to employer- provided surveys in the H-2B program and to assist the Department in reviewing those surveys.
