Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (``EEOC'' or ``Commission'') is extending the comment period for the proposed rule ``Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008'' published on October 30, 2015. The Commission is extending the comment period in response to a stakeholder request for an extension.

Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (``EEOC'' or ``Commission'') is issuing a proposed rule that would amend the regulations implementing Title II of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008 as they relate to employer wellness programs. The proposed regulations address the extent to which an employer may offer an employee inducements for the employee's spouse who is also a participant in the employer's health plan to provide information about the spouse's current or past health status as part of a health risk assessment administered in connection with the employer's offer of health services as part of an employer-sponsored wellness program. Several technical changes to the existing regulation are also proposed.
Apprenticeship Programs; Corrections
The EEOC is correcting a cross-reference in its regulation concerning the procedures for requesting an exemption for apprenticeship programs from the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) pursuant to Section 9 of the Act.
Amendments to Regulations Under the Americans With Disabilities Act
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (``EEOC'' or ``Commission'') is issuing a proposed rule that would amend the regulations and interpretive guidance implementing Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as they relate to employer wellness programs. The proposed rule amends the ADA regulations to provide guidance on the extent to which employers may use incentives to encourage employees to participate in wellness programs that include disability-related inquiries and/or medical examinations.

In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the Commission announces that it is submitting to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a request for a three-year extension without change of the existing recordkeeping requirements under 29 CFR part 1602 et seq., Recordkeeping and Reporting Requirements under Title VII, the ADA, and GINA.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (``EEOC'' or ``Commission'') is issuing an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (``ANPRM'') inviting the public to submit comments regarding the Federal sector EEO complaint process. The Commission primarily is interested in suggestions that will make the process more efficient and user-friendly, and more effective in identifying and redressing prohibited employment discrimination.

The Commission is seeking public comments on the proposed extension.

The EEOC is proposing revisions to the race and ethnicity categories on the EEO-3 report to conform to OMB's Revisions to the Standards for the Classification of Federal Data on Race and Ethnicity (October 30, 1997) (Revised Standards), as applied in OMB Bulletin No. 00-02, Guidance on Aggregation and Allocation of Data on Race for Use in Civil Rights Monitoring and Enforcement (March 9, 2000).
