License Renewal for Callaway Plant, Unit 1
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued renewed facility operating license No. NPF-30 to Union Electric Company (dba Ameren Missouri or the licensee), the operator of the Callaway Plant, Unit 1 (Callaway). Renewed facility operating license No. NPF-30 authorizes operation of Callaway by the licensee at reactor core power levels not in excess of 3565 megawatts thermal, in accordance with the provisions of the Callaway renewed license and technical specifications. In addition, the NRC has prepared a record of decision (ROD) that supports the NRC's decision to renew facility operating license No. NPF-30.

This document announces that May 29, 2015 has been established as the Pre-Auction Licensing Deadline. This is the date by which full power and Class A facilities must be licensed or have on file with the Commission a license to cover application in order to be protected in the repacking process or be eligible for voluntary relinquishment of spectrum usage rights as part of the television incentive auction.

NSF is forwarding the proposed submission to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for clearance simultaneously with the publication of this second notice. Filing Dates for the Mississippi Special Elections in the 1st Congressional District
Mississippi has scheduled a Special General Election on May 12, 2015, to fill the U.S. House of Representatives seat held by the late Representative Alan Nunnelee. Under Mississippi law, a majority winner in a nonpartisan special election is declared elected. Should no candidate achieve a majority vote, a Special Runoff Election will be held on June 2, 2015, between the top two vote-getters. Committees participating in the Mississippi special elections are required to file pre-and post-election reports. Filing dates for these reports are affected by whether one or two elections are held.
