Statement of Organization, Functions, and Delegations of Authority. The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) has reorganized the Office of the Assistant Secretary (OAS) and the Administration on Developmental Disabilities (ADD). This reorganization realigns the President's Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities Staff within the OAS and moves the function to ADD as a result of the Charter Amendment for PCPID governed by Public Law 92-463 signed by the Secretary, HHS, on May 9, 2011.
Agency Information Collection Activities: Proposed Collection; Comment Request; Generic Clearance for the Collection of Qualitative Feedback on Agency Service Delivery
As part of a Federal Government-wide effort to streamline the process to seek feedback from the public on service delivery, the Administration for Children and Families has submitted a Generic Information Collection Request (Generic ICR): ``Generic Clearance for the Collection of Qualitative Feedback on Agency Service Delivery'' to OMB for approval under the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) (44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq.).
Office of Refugee Resettlement; Statement of Organization, Functions, and Delegations of Authority
Statement of Organizations, Functions, and Delegations of Authority. The Administration for Children and Families has reorganized the Office of Refugee Resettlement. This reorganization includes the organization and its substructure components as listed in this document. This reorganization establishes the Division of Refugee Health. It renames the Division of Community Resettlement to the Division of Refugee Services. It renames the Division of Unaccompanied Children's Services to the Division of Children's Services. It deletes the Division of Budget, Policy, and Data Analysis and moves the function to the Office of the Director. The notice also serves to establish an Associate Deputy Director position.
Head Start Program
This final rule amends the Head Start Program regulations to implement statutory provisions of the Improving Head Start for School Readiness Act of 2007 to establish a system of designation renewal to determine if Head Start and Early Head Start agencies are delivering high-quality and comprehensive Head Start and Early Head Start programs that meet the educational, health, nutritional, and social needs of the children and families they serve and meet program and financial management requirements and standards. This system of designation renewal will determine which grantees must compete for on-going funding. This final rule is consistent with Executive Order 13563 and in particular its requirement, in section 6, of ``periodic review of existing significant regulations.''
Statement of Organization, Functions, and Delegations of Authority; Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Administration
Statement of Organizations, Functions, and Delegations of Authority. The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) has reorganized the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Administration (ODASA). This reorganization renames the Office of Management Resources (OMR) to the Office of Workforce Planning and Development. In addition, it realigns the ethics, facilities, security and travel functions formerly located in OMR to the Immediate Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Administration.
