The Employment and Training Administration (ETA) of the Department of Labor (Department) published a notice in the Federal Register on December 22, 2017, announcing the 2018 Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR) for the employment of temporary or seasonal nonimmigrant foreign workers (H-2A workers) to perform herding or production of livestock on the range. That notice contained two different figures as the 2018 AEWR, one correct ($1,584.22/month) and the other incorrect. This notice corrects the incorrect figure.

This document contains final regulations regarding the implementation of certain portions of section 1101 of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015 (BBA), which was enacted into law on November 2, 2015. Section 1101 of the BBA repeals the current rules governing partnership audits and replaces them with a new centralized partnership audit regime that, in general, assesses and collects tax at the partnership level. This document provides final regulations for electing out of the centralized partnership audit regime. The final regulations affect partnerships for taxable years beginning after December 31, 2017.

This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of phenylethyl acetate (CAS Reg. No. 103- 45-7) when used as an inert ingredient (solvent) at a maximum of 0.015% in pesticide formulations applied to growing crops and raw agricultural commodities after harvest. Technology Science Group Inc., on behalf of Janeil Biosurfactant Company, submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), requesting establishment of an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance.

On November 7, 2017, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) solicited comments on its licensing guidance for licenses authorizing the use of Yttrium-90 (Y-90) Microsphere Brachytherapy Sources and Devices TheraSphere[supreg] and SIR-Spheres[supreg]. The public comment period was originally scheduled to close on January 8, 2018. The NRC has decided to extend the public comment period to allow more time for members of the public to develop and submit their comments.
