SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION
I. Background
Congress enacted the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act
of 1959, as amended (LMRDA), to provide for the disclosure

CSRA standards of conduct regulations make certain provisions of the
Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 (LMRDA), 29
U.S.C. 401 et seq. applicable to federal sector labor organizations

the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), as amended, 5
U.S.C. 552 and Executive Order 12600. It also implements the public

representatives under the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure
