Public Availability of Information; Freedom of Information Act
The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) is revising its regulations implementing the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) following a period of public comment on its proposed rule. The purposes for the revision are to update the regulations to be consistent with amendments to FOIA that were signed into law on December 31, 2007, and October 28, 2009, to revise DOT's fee schedule and other charges, and to make provisions clearer and easier to locate.
Agency Information Collection Activities; Submission for OMB Review; Comment Request; Information Collections Pertaining to Special Employment Under the Fair Labor Standards Act
The Department of Labor (DOL) is submitting the Wage and Hour Division (WHD) sponsored information collection request (ICR) titled, ``Information Collections Pertaining to Special Employment Under the Fair Labor Standards Act,'' to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval for continued use, without change, in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), 44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq.
Privacy Act of 1974; System of Records
The Defense Finance and Accounting Service proposes to alter a system of records, T7207, entitled ``General Accounting and Finance SystemDefense Travel Records (GAFS-DTS)'' in its inventory of record systems subject to the Privacy Act of 1974, as amended. This system will enable DFAS, the Air Force, Defense Security Service, and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency to produce transaction-driven financial statements in support of Defense Finance and Accounting Service financial mission.
