L. 104-13, 44 U.S.C. Chapter 35). This document corrects the date for comments regarding the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) proposed data collection for the national Survey of Public Participation in the Arts that was published in the Federal Register on November 6, 2006 (Vol. 71, No. 214, page 65007). The correct date for the submission of written comments to the office listed in the address section below is on or before January 7, 2007.

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is publishing this notice under the ``Notification and Federal Employee Antidiscrimination and Retaliation Act of 2002,'' which is known as the No FEAR Act, to inform current employees, former employees, and applicants for NEH employment of the rights and protections available to them under Federal antidiscrimination, whistleblower protection and retaliation laws.

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) publishes for public comment proposed policy guidance on Title VI's prohibition against national origin discrimination as it affects limited English proficient persons.

The Institute of Museum and Library Services as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, conducts a pre-clearance consultation program to provide the general public and Federal agencies with an opportunity to comment on proposed and/or continuing collections of information in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA95) [44 U.S.C. 3508(2)(A)]. This program helps to ensure that requested data can be provided in the desired format, reporting burden (time and financial resources) is minimized, collection instruments are clearly understood, and the impact of collection requirements on respondents can be properly assessed.
