Under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Secretariat will be submitting to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a request to review and approve an extension of a currently approved information collection requirement concerning delivery schedules. The clearance currently expires on August 31, 2008. Public comments are particularly invited on: Whether this collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of functions of the FAR, and whether it will have practical utility; whether our estimate of the public burden of this collection of information is accurate, and based on valid assumptions and methodology; ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and ways in which we can minimize the burden of the collection of information on those who are to respond, through the use of appropriate technological collection techniques or other forms of information technology.

A request for public comments was published in the Federal Register at 72 FR 696140, on November 27, 2007. No comments were received. This OMB clearance expires on August 31, 2008. Public comments are particularly invited on: Whether this collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of functions of the FAR, and whether it will have practical utility; whether our estimate of the public burden of this collection of information is accurate, and based on valid assumptions and methodology; ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and ways in which we can minimize the burden of the collection of information on those who are to respond, through the use of appropriate technological collection techniques or other forms of information technology.

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule Advisory Panel (MAS Panel), a Federal Advisory Committee, will hold a public meeting on Monday, June 16, 2008. GSA utilizes the Schedules program to establish long-term Governmentwide contracts with responsible firms to provide Federal, State, and local government customers with access to a wide variety of supplies (products) and services. The MAS Panel will develop advice and recommendations on MAS program pricing policies, provisions, and procedures in the context of current commercial pricing practices. Specifically, the MAS Panel will review the MAS policy statements, implementing regulations, solicitation provisions and other related documents regarding the structure, use, and pricing for the MAS contract awards.

The General Services Administration published a document in the Federal Register on May 7, 2008 (73 FR 25539), that updated Federal, State, and Puerto Rico tax tables for calculating the relocation income tax (RIT) allowance. This document corrects that final rule.

The attached bulletin provides updated information to Federal agencies regarding the initiative to convert to commercial payment processes for postage. GSA Bulletin FMR G-01 may also be found at www.gsa.gov/fmrbulletin.

This rule updates the Federal, State, and Puerto Rico tax tables for calculating the relocation income tax (RIT) allowance, to reflect changes in Federal, State, and Puerto Rico income tax brackets and rates. The Federal, State, and Puerto Rico tax tables contained in this rule are for use in calculating the 2008 RIT allowance for tax year 2007 to be paid to relocating Federal employees.
