Agency Information Collection Activities; Submission for OMB Review; Comment Request; Extension
The FTC intends to ask the Office of Management and Budget (``OMB'') to extend for an additional three years the current Paperwork Reduction Act (``PRA'') clearance for information collection requirements contained in its Funeral Industry Practice Rule (``Funeral Rule'' or ``Rule''). That clearance expires on July 31, 2017.
Freedom of Information Act; Miscellaneous Rules
The Federal Trade Commission is implementing provisions of the FOIA Improvement Act of 2016 by amending the regulation governing fees the agency may assess to offset the cost of disseminating information and records to the public. The FTC is also making other clarifying changes and updates to the fee regulation.
