National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants: Taconite Iron Ore Processing Amendments; Extension of Comment Period
On May 15, 2023, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a proposed rule titled, ``National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants: Taconite Iron Ore Processing Amendments.'' The EPA is extending the comment period on this proposed rule that currently closes on June 29, 2023, by 8 days. The comment period will now remain open until July 7, 2023, to allow additional time for stakeholders to review and comment on the proposal.
Testing Provisions for Air Emission Sources; Correction
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is making a correcting amendment due to an error in a final rule that was published in the Federal Register on March 29, 2023, and became effective on May 30, 2023. The final rule corrected and updated regulations for source testing of emissions.
