Veterans Legacy Grants Program Improvements
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) amends its Veterans Legacy Grants Program (VLGP) regulations to align them with regulatory updates to the uniform administrative requirements and other requirements for Federal awards and makes additional revisions to improve the process for administration of the grant program. This rulemaking implements housekeeping amendments to key terms, legal citations, and definitions and extends timelines for grant recipient reporting requirements.

Monetary Allowance for Outer Burial Receptacles
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is providing notice of the monetary allowance amount payable for outer burial receptacles (OBR) for qualifying interments in a VA national cemetery or in a VA grant-funded veterans cemetery that occur during calendar year (CY) 2025. The allowance is equal to the average cost of Government- furnished graveliners less any administrative costs associated with processing and paying the allowance. This system of records is an electronic repository of military personnel's military history, payroll information and their dependents' data provided to VA by the Department of Defense's Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC). The VADIR database repository is used in conjunction with other applications across VA business lines to provide an electronic consolidated view of comprehensive eligibility and benefits utilization data from across VA and Department of Defense (DoD). VA applications use the VADIR database to retrieve profile data, military history, and information on benefits, and dependents.

Amendments to the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers
