Annual Pay Ranges for Physicians, Dentists, and Podiatrists of the Veterans Health Administration
VA hereby gives notice of the annual pay ranges, which are the sum of the base pay rate and market pay for VHA physicians, dentists and podiatrists as prescribed by the VA Secretary for Department-wide applicability. Post-9/11 Improvements, Fry Scholarship, and Interval Payments Amendments
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is proposing to amend the Veteran Readiness and Employment and Education regulations to implement the provisions of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Improvements Act of 2010, which modified the manner in which payments of educational assistance are determined and expanded the types of programs students may pursue under the Post-9/11 GI Bill. VA is also proposing to implement section 1002 of the Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2009, which authorized the ``Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship,'' and a select number of provisions of the Harry W. Colmery Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2017. This proposed rule would include the rules necessary to implement provisions of other legislative enactments that affect the provision of educational assistance to veterans and their eligible dependents and beneficiaries.
Collection or Recovery by VA for Humanitarian Care or Services and for Certain Other Care and Services
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) adopts as final, with a minor technical change, a proposed rule to revise its regulations concerning reimbursement rates for health care that VA provides to individuals who are not otherwise eligible for such care as veterans or other VA beneficiaries. Privacy Act of 1974; Matching Program
This re-established Computer Matching Agreement (CMA) sets forth the terms, conditions, and safeguards under which the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will disclose return information, relating to unearned income, to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) for the Disclosure of Information to Federal, State and Local Agencies (DIFSLA). The purpose of this CMA is to make available to VBA certain return information needed to determine eligibility for, and amount of benefits for, VBA applicants and beneficiaries of needs-based benefits, and to adjust income-dependent benefit payments, as prescribed by law. Currently, the most cost effective and efficient way to verify annual income of applicants, and recipients of these benefits, is through a computer match.
