The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) published, in the Federal Register on May 16, 2014, the Notice of Intent to prepare an integrated environmental impact statement (EIS) for the proposed improvements to and reconfiguration of the VA Black Hills Health Care System (VA BHHCS) services in the Hot Springs and Rapid City, South Dakota vicinities. Due to public request and the unavailability of the regulations.gov public comment Web site, the comment period for the scoping process has been extended from June 16, 2014 to August 16, 2014.

In compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of 1995 (44 U.S.C. 3501-3521), this notice announces that the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Department of Veterans Affairs, will submit the collection of information abstracted below to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and comment. The PRA submission describes the nature of the information collection and its expected cost and burden; it includes the actual data collection instrument.
