Notice of Final Federal Agency Actions on MoPac (Loop 1) Intersections, Travis County, Texas
On February 19, 2016, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) issued a notice for the approval of the Final Environmental Assessment (Final EA) and the Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the proposed highway project, MoPac (Loop 1) Intersections from North of Slaughter Lane to South of La Crosse Avenue in Travis County, Texas. This notice applies solely to actions by TxDOT and Federal agencies which occurred subsequent to the publication of the prior notice and does not apply to actions addressed in the prior notice.

The FHWA is issuing this notice to announce to the public that FHWA, as NEPA lead agency, has prepared and approved (May 26, 2017) a Final Environmental Assessment (EA) with a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Section 4(f) Evaluation. The actions relate to a proposed highway project: Widen approximately 12.6 miles of U.S. Highway 395 from two lanes to four lanes from the existing four-lane highway segment just south of the Los Angeles Aqueduct Bridge No. 48-10 at post mile 29.2 north to the four-lane segment at the Ash Creek Bridge No. 48-068R, post mile 41.8, in the County of Inyo, State of California. Those actions grant licenses, permits, and approvals for the project.

The FHWA is issuing this notice to advise the public that an EIS will be prepared for proposed improvements along I-516/SR21/CS 1503/DeRenne Avenue. The project would begin approximately 0.72 mile west of Mildred Street and end west of the Harry S. Truman Parkway ramps at DeRenne Avenue, for a project corridor of approximately 2.6 miles.

Surface Transportation Project Delivery Program; Ohio Department of Transportation Audit Report
The Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21) established the permanent Surface Transportation Project Delivery Program that allows a State to assume FHWA's environmental responsibilities for review, consultation, and compliance for Federal highway projects. When a State assumes these Federal responsibilities, the State becomes solely liable for carrying out the responsibilities it has assumed, in lieu of FHWA. This program mandates annual audits during each of the first 4 years of State participation to ensure compliance by each State participating in the Program. This notice makes available the final report of Ohio Department of Transportation's (ODOT) first audit under the program.
